![]() ![]() In this game the rocks are big, vibrant, angular pink masses of… Well, you’d think they’re made of rock, but they certainly don’t look like it. The sea Octoroks actually wiggle them at you if you get too close, too, unlike their freshwater counterparts which hide underwater if you get too close.Īnd, as in every Zelda title that they appear in, Octoroks are octopuses which shoot rocks. It’d be hard to actually see the lower arms in-game, though most of the time you’d only see the long tentacles towering up from the water around them. They really don’t feel this big in-game unless you pay attention to it, but since the octopuses are more or less turrets that pop up and fire at you, you’ll probably be sailing past them without even a second glance.ĭespite their name, Octoroks in this game actually appear to have 8 arms and 2 tentacles, which is much more like real-life squids than octopuses, which instead just have the 8 arms. The saltwater ones have enormous craniums that are just covered in spikes and, as seen above, are about the size of the King of Red Lions with his sail up. ![]() This game’s iteration of Octoroks comes in two flavors: freshwater and saltwater. Though there’s not a huge variety of ocean-native monsters in this title, the ones that are there sure are… Well, huge!
